This week’s list of weekly product drops is dominated by heavy releases from streetwear powerhouses Palace and Supreme. The British skatewear brand shows no signs of stopping, as it prepares the launch of its beyond expansive Ultimo 2018 collection. Supreme is not only releasing its recently revealed “BLESSED” DVD but a co-branded Timberland 2018 World Hiker Front Country Boot alongside its scheduled weekly offering.
Collabs also come in strong this week with a set of exclusive carry options from CLOT and READYMADE dropping at a pop-up. Drake also put together a Magic City Strip Club x Scorpion collaboration, highlighting the risqué venue’s contributions to the culture. Showing some love to the retailers that support them, Japanese labels WACKO MARIA and Blackmeans put together some exclusives limited to INVINCIBLE, NUBIAN and Berberjin. visvim looked to commemorate this year’s Black Friday with a hefty capsule and NSS Magazine delivered a new set of offerings from its Les Vêtements de Football parody label.
Key items this week include visvim’s reversible Wawona Vest, Blackmeans “WAR IS HELL” hoodie, the CLOT x READYMADE duffel bags and Scorpion City Embroidered Hoodie. Finally, from Supreme, it would have to be the Corduroy Detailed Zip Sweater, Text Stripe Hooded Sweatshirt, GORE-TEX 6-Panel, and of course, the “BLESSED” DVD and accompanying T-shirt.

Supreme fans are in for a treat this week, as the brand is set to release its latest full-length skate video “BLESSED,” directed by New York filmmaker William Strobeck. In addition to the DVD, the drop includes an exclusive photo T-shirt featuring a scene from the skate vid and a photo book that documents the behind-the-scenes making of the video.
Not done quite yet, Supreme is also releasing its latest collaboration with Timberland, re-working the rugged World Hiker Front Country Boot. Available in black, silver and orange, the shoe features a fully waterproof upper constructed of premium leather which is matched with a seam-sealed Vibram rubber outsole. Branding comes in the form of a debossed Timberland logo at the tongue, a Timberland Tree logo at the ankle and a final Supreme box logo at the lateral side of the boot.
This week’s scheduled offerings from Supreme is led by an assortment of branded jackets, sweats, shirts, T-shirts, hats and more. Some notable pieces include the cold-weather ready Patchwork Shearling B-3 Jacket, cozy Quilted Denim Pilot Jacket and workwear-inspired Hooded Plaid Work Shirt. The boldly branded accessory of the drop is a Cordura® nylon handwarmer with Polartec® 200 fleece lining and a waist strap.

For this year’s Black Friday, visvim put together an expansive drop of layering pieces and accessories. The special range features everything from the brand’s signature Brigadier boots to a selection of artisanal Uchiwa fans. Looking closer at the garments, we see a hand-painted Grease Monkey coat, faded and distressed Journeyman jeans and a trio of nui-jime flat brim caps.

Making its return this week, Palace is gearing up to deliver its highly anticipated Ultimo 2018 range. Centered around the winter season, the range is made up mostly of jackets, hoodies and heavy knitwear dressed with an array of Palace branding. As expected the Ultimo 2018 collection also features an array of accessories, such as caps, beanies, scarves, rings and wallets. Rounding things up is a choice collaboration with the iconic children’s shoe brand Kickers available in black, navy and red.

Exclusive to Tokyo retailers NUBIAN and Berberjin, Japanese artisanal label Blackmeans latest release is centered around a macabre graphic. Comprised of black and white hoodies and long-sleeve T-shirts, each piece is dressed with a grim reaper back graphic, “WAR IS HELL” chest design and Blackmeans’ dual-side kanji motif. The hoodies in the capsule are exclusive to NUBIAN, while the rest of the collection can be found at NUBIAN and Berberjin.

CLOT recently announced an exclusive filled pop-up with Japanese label READYMADE. The special retail experience will serve as the debut of the two label’s SS19 collaboration and feature assortment of reissues taken from READYMADE’s established line up of austere items — all of which are constructed using vintage military fabrics. Available in two sizes – large and small — the exclusive collaborative duffels are constructed out of the signature green army fabric, etched with a repeating CLOT and READYMADE logo pattern.
