Vic Mensa Covers Radiohead's "Karma Police" on BBC Radio 1's "Piano Sessions"
Some stripped-back goodness.
It’s been a big year for Chicago rapper, Vic Mensa, the latest guest to star on BBC Radio 1’s “Piano Sessions.” The Roc Nation artist who, back in the summer, released two bodies of work in the shape of an EP The Manuscript — that featured Pusha-T and Pharrell — and then the following month an LP titled The Autobiography. Of late Mensa appeared on the latest edition of Huw Stephens’ show, performing a stripped-back cover of “Karma Police” — a single taken from Radiohead‘s OK Computer.
Earlier this year, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, Radiohead re-released the 1997 sensation in a deluxe set titled OKNOTOK. You can watch Mensa’s soulful performance in the video above.
