Brooklyn-based artist Meguru Yamaguchi announces a forthcoming presentation at the historic Andrew Freedman Home in the Bronx, highlighting his diverse and expansive practice. Entitled “The Center Gives Way,” the retrospective will put on display Yamaguchi’s signature sculptural paintings of brushstrokes alongside large-scale murals. Notable pieces in his painting series include Out of Bounds and Splitting Horizons that have been created at the hosting establishment. Moreover, an intimate video of the artist working in his studio will be installed at the space.

Accompanying the artworks on display are past fashion collaborations with the likes of Issey Miyake, Nike, UNIQLO, FTC Tee and shoes, as well as CHARI&CO. “The Center Gives Way” is set to launch on November 16.
