Meek Mill Announces First Post-Prison U.S. Tour
The rapper also pens a profound op-ed on prison reform.
With the release date for his new CHAMPIONSHIPS album just a few days away, Meek Mill has revealed plans for his first major post-prison tour and penned a special op-ed for The New York Times.
First up, Meek Mill’s New York Times editorial deals with a topic that he’s been tackling for months now: prison reform.
“Like many who are now incarcerated, I was the victim of a miscarriage of justice,” Meek Mill writes. “I got lucky, but because of dysfunctional, discriminatory rules, most don’t.”
Meek Mill’s entire New York Times piece is available for reading at the publication’s official website.
Next, Meek Mill has announced a 2019 North American tour known as the “Motivation Tour.” Specifically, the Philadelphia superstar’s forthcoming live run includes 16 shows and is set to unfold over the course of one-month-and-some-change, with the tour scheduled to begin on February 19 and conclude on March 24. You can check out the itinerary for Meek Mill’s upcoming tour below, and find out about ticket information on TicketMaster.
Last week, Meek Mill released two new singles: “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies” and “Uptown Vibes.”
