Balenciaga Launches Trippy Video Lookbooks to Promote SS19 Line
Weird flex, but okay.

Since Demna Gvasalia took the creative director seat for Balenciaga back in 2015, the luxury label has been surfeited with unconventional yet innovative silhouettes. This unique approach is also observed on their social media channels especially on Instagram where traditional runway shots are sacrificed for more bizarre styling cues of their seasonal lineups. The label has now enlisted motion artist Yilmaz Sen to create a series of trippy videos to promote their Spring/Summer 2019 offerings.
Morphing bodies clad with the label’s SS19 apparel and accessories are the stars of the video lookbooks set against urban landscapes. Check out the surreal clips below and let us know your thoughts on Balenciaga’s psychedelic approach.
Elsewhere in fashion, NOAH recently launched a capsule collection that pays homage to Big Audio Dynamite.
