adidas Originals & Transport For London Expand Collaboration With New Silhouettes
With four Elizabeth line-themed sneakers and six new Continental 80s.
After reworking the Temper Run, Continental 80 and ZX 500RM last month, adidas Originals and Transport For London have continued their collaboration with 10 new sneakers. The focal point of this capsule is four silhouettes — the Falcon, Gazelle, Samba Rose and Stan Smith — which have been given a purple color palette inspired by the soon-to-open Elizabeth line.
As well as the four Elizabeth line-themed sneakers, the capsule also includes six new takes on the Continental 80 silhouette. The sneakers come with black, white, grey and off-white full-grain leather uppers, and each pair is a reference to two different tube lines. The lines for each pair are referenced in the silhouette’s signature side stripe, as well as a different embossed roundel logo on each heel tab.
The Elizabeth line Falcon, Gazelle, Samba Rose and Stan Smith will be available from the adidas Originals web store and select retailers on December 8, with all six Continental 80 colorways releasing on December 10.
