A Closer Look at Pharrell & adidas Originals' Latest Hu NMD "SOLARHU"
Complete with an East African-inspired collar.
After revealing the new East African weaving-inspired colorways yesterday, adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have now given a closer look at their latest Hu NMD release. Released as part of the Fall/Winter 2018 SOLARHU pack, the sneaker comes in five colorways: green, white and black as well as “Power Blue” and “Clear Blue.”
All five colorways of the sneaker feature a brightly colored printed collar, which references the East African weaving theme that runs through the footwear and apparel elements of the collection. The Hu NMD is then finished with the Chinese characters for “Empower” and “Inspire” embroidered on the upper. Take an up-close look at the sneakers in the gallery above, and expect them to release alongside the apparel capsule via the the adidas web store and select retailers including HBX on November 10.
