size? continues its range of exclusive models, this time teaming up with adidas Originals. Going back into the archives, the retailer has pulled a shoe that first debuted in 1979 — called the Kegler Super after Keglen, a german style of bowling. Originally created for athletes for that sport, the peg system on the shoe was innovative at the time, allowing users to adjust its cushioning.

The shoe itself comes in a navy and maroon colorway, using a premium leather upper and taking inspiration from Americana-era bowling shoes of the 1960s. The heel tabs have a reference to the production years, with “19” and “79” on each foot. There’s also suede on T-toe and mudguard surround and a gum outsole. The size? exclusive adidas Originals Kegler Super “Bowling” costs £85 and is releasing on December 1 at the size? webstore.

In other news, SWEAR channeled the era of ’90s platform boots with its latest release.
