YoungBoy Never Broke Again reconnects with Kevin Gates and Quando Rondo for the official “I Am Who They Say I Am” music video.
Released back in August as part of YoungBoy’s 4RESPECT 4FREEDOM 4LOYALTY 4WHAT IMPORTANT project, “I Am Who They Say I Am” comes to life courtesy a visual directed by Louie Knows.
“Posted on Maryland, me and Von, his mama tearin’ just once / Know you seen up in the parish, like check it out that’s my lil’ youngin’,” YoungBoy raps. “Nigga don’t wanna sell me a brick of dope, act like my money funny / Damn what you sayin’ gangsta, you gon’ make me take it from you.”
“I was gambling with shawty, I put some work on the block / I tested her, she held a lil’ quarter bird at her spot,” Kevin Gates adds. ”I ain’t into bustin’ down a Rollie, bustin’ down on bales / Don’t wanna fuck me, I won’t argue baby, oh well / The 18 Willard, the lever get ‘em movin’ mils / Millionaire dollar bond in 30 minutes and I made bail.”
