Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood Announces New Album, Unveils Video By Paul Thomas Anderson
Quite an ambitious project.
Radiohead‘s Jonny Greenwood has officially announced his next album, Junun. Recorded in India with well-known Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Israeli artist Shye Ben Tzur and Indian qawwali musicians the Rajasthan Express, Junun will arrive accompanied by a documentary directed by famed director Paul Thomas Anderson. The LP will be available for purchase on November 13 courtesy of Nonesuch, while the docu-flick based on the project is currently streaming for a month on Mubi. Paul Thomas Anderson is also responsible for Greenwood’s new video, a vignette for the song “Roked” composed entirely of scenes from the album’s documentary.
