Often embroiled in legal disputes with Apple over copyright infringement, Chinese electronics and lifestyle product brand Xiaomi recently released an Off-White™ x RIMOWA replica through its sub-label 90Fun. Undeniably a copy of Virgil Abloh‘s transparent luggage piece coveted by streetwear crowd, the product images even blatantly use an Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 “Powder Blue,” proving the company knew what they were doing with the release.
Part of the Xiaomi division’s third-anniversary celebrations, the Seven Bar Transparent Suitcase features a 20 inch, 33 L standard boarding design constructed of see-through polycarbonate assisted by rugged TPU handles and bindings at the main zipper closure. Other functional elements include a TSA-approved security lock, 360-degree convertible, muted rolling system and a 4-position adjustable height aluminum handle at the rear.
