Drake's 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' Is Currently 2015's Best-Selling Album
This probably won’t come as a surprise.
The SoundScan numbers are in. As the sales stand, Drake‘s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late is currently 2015’s best-selling album. Three quarters deep into 2015, and If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late has almost hit a million digital copies with 951,000 digital copies sold. Another Drake-involved effort — his collaborative album alongside Future — is also in the top ten for the year. Drake and Future’s What A Time To Be Alive takes the sixth spot with 396,000 digital copies purchased. And, even on the illegal side of listening, Drake is still moving numbers. Just a couple weeks back, Drake landed yet another number one album as well and made history with it. Also of note: Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly is at five with 479,000 and Dr. Dre’s comeback album Compton takes the tenth spot with 364,000.
