Childish Gambino's 'Atlanta' Receives 10-Episode Series Order

FX has provided a series order to Childish Gambino‘s, aka Donald Glover, show Atlanta. The half-hour comedy centers around two cousins and their journey through the title city’s music scene. Nick Grad, the president of original programming for FX, shares with Variety: “Atlanta draws on Donald’s considerable talents as a musician, actor, and writer to give us something unique. The story is made all the more powerful by the great cast and the contributions of Donald’s fellow executive producer Paul Simms and director Hiro Murai.
