New York’s Central Park Tower Will Be Recognized as the Tallest Residential Building in the World
Will be located on Billionaire’s Row.

Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture is the creative agency behind Central Park Tower, which when all is said and done, will be recognized as the tallest residential building in the world. Set to stand at a total height of 1,550 feet, the modern day skyscraper will be located on West 57th street, otherwise known as Billionaire’s Row, and will offer its residents an impressive list of lavish amenities.
For instance, the first club level located on the 14th floor will house a billiards space, screening/function rooms, a 60-foot swimming pool, cabanas, a bar, a screening wall, food and beverage service, and an outdoor children’s playground. The 16th floor, on the other hand, will lay claim to a 63-foot swimming pool, a fitness center, basketball court, squash court, sauna, steam and treatment rooms, amongst a host of others.
When asked to comment on the mammoth structure, Gordon Gill of Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture had the following to say:
“One of the greatest responsibilities of architecture is to continue to elevate experiences yet create structures that are elegant and respectful. Central Park Tower was designed to take advantage of the spirit of the great city of New York and create an address worthy of its location on Billionaires Row and Central Park.”
Gary Barnett, founder and president of Extell Development Company, had the following to add:
“Central Park Tower introduces a level of design, quality and service that hasn’t been seen before. This building will stand out in New York City history as the singular residential offering that redefined luxury living.”
