BOOTS, the producer behind most of Beyoncé’s material from 2014, went on tour with the cat-loving Killer Mike/El-P duo of Run The Jewels, and recently, he and the RTJ producer sat down for an hour-long conversation for the Talkhouse Music Podcast. Happening at the backstage of Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the two beat architects talked about a variety of topics, including their production techniques, their footwear choices, the mental condition one should be in before taking drugs, the end of the world, and cats.
