Arsenal has unveiled that it has a new kit sponsor for the new season. The team is currently sponsored by PUMA and took to Twitter earlier on today to reveal that it’s signed a deal with adidas, effective from July 1, 2019. The news had long been rumored and now its been confirmed that the move was made.

Arsenal have a long history with adidas, with the sportswear giants previously working with the club during the late ’80s, creating several iconic kits. The new deal is worth £60 million (approx. $78 million USD ) per year, double the current £30 million (approx. $39 million USD) deal the team has with PUMA. Further deals are yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that it will be a 5 year-long deal.
