Apple’s iOS 12.1 Update Includes Over 70 New Emojis

Including superheroes, a skateboard, frisbee and many more.

Apple recently announced that it will add more than 70 brand new emojis as part of its iOS 12.1 package. Earlier this summer, the tech giant teased a small sampling of what users could expect, unveiling images of a kangaroo, lobster and a cupcake, as well as a selection of superheroes.

With that said, we now have an additional sneak peek at a rash of other such emoticons that users can enjoy sending around to family and friends, such as a raccoon, swan, skateboard, frisbee, lacrosse stick, hiking boot, bagel, and a salt shaker, amongst a host of others. Also with the update, users will have access to different character faces, complete with varying expressions and hairstyles. The new set of emojis are available now via 12.1 developer and public beta previews, while macOS and watchOS systems will get their turn through upcoming software updates.
