Conceptual florists Azuma Makoto & Kaju Kenkyusho, better known as AMKK, are acclaimed for their striking, dynamic creations, which often blur the line between art installation and topiary display. The duo are no stranger to fashion, either, having worked with outlets ranging from COMME des GARÇONS to Vogue; they even have their own in-house range of goods, which are hardly ever released to the public.
As part of HYPEFEST, however, AMKK has deigned a rare capsule range. The drop encompasses a duo of sweaters, selection of tees and a set of shoulder bags. All of the monochrome items sport prints evocative of the company’s signature creations: beautiful flowers. Rich photographs accent the bags while imagery repurposed from old textbooks appear on the layering pieces boxy T-shirts, complete with stencil-like branding and AMKK patches.
Hypefest will provide a virtual shopping experience accessible only to those within the geo-fenced location of the festival. All products purchased at Hypefest through the Hypefest app and on-site point of sale will be shipped to the buyer shortly after the festival. Check out the goods above and stay tuned for the drop during Hypefest, this weekend from October 6 – 7.
