adidas Skateboarding and Alltimers are back to present their third collaborative project, choosing once again to pair a signature sneaker model with a small apparel capsule. An artistic rework of the Gazelle Super stars as the lineup’s main draw, with the classic low top drenched in a brownish/orange hairy suede upper — reminiscent of old-school ‘70s luxury — while an embossed Alltimers logo rests on both the tongue and heel.
With heritage sportswear acting as a key inspiration point, a hoodie bearing that same light brown hue is joined by a tonal zip jacket, a branded T-shirt and a pair of navy chino trousers — all of which does its part in supporting the statement skate sneaker.
When explaining its involvement in the collaborative process, Alltimers had the following to say:
“You know the old saying; martini’s are like stripes – 2 isn’t enough, and 4 is too many. For our third collaboration with adidas we’ve stripped the shoe down to it’s essentials – spruced it up with some very decent materials and built a collection around it. A more refined, grown up look, because we kept getting turned away from nice restaurants with the hockey jerseys and sweatpants on.”
The joint collection will make its debut on October 20 via adidas Skateboarding’s online shop and the Alltimers webstore. Meanwhile, in other fashion news, UNDEFEATED & Budweiser co-created a themed apparel collection.
