'Gotti' Trailer Sees John Travolta Play the Notorious Gambino Mob Boss
The life and death of the “Teflon Don.”
Gotti, the upcoming American crime drama biopic of infamous NYC mobster John Gotti, has released its first official trailer. The film stars John Travolta as Gotti and is a three-decade-long account of the mobster’s rise to becoming the “Teflon Don” of the Gambino Crime Family.
The story is told by Gotti’s son John Jr. and examines the mobster’s tumultuous life — from a childhood in poverty to becoming a “made man,” and eventually rising to the top of New York City’s biggest crime family — as he and his wife Victoria try to hold the Gambino family together through multiple tragedies and prison sentences.
Gotti is directed by Kevin Connolly (Entourage, Rocky V) and written by Leo Rossi and Lem Dobbs. Watch the trailer above and share your thoughts below. The film will hit theaters and on demand on December 15.
