Drake Is Now One of Green Tea Brand MatchaBar's Top Investors
Passionfruit flavor on the way?

Drake‘s Virginia Black has sold like hotcakes since making its debut and now the 6 God is hoping to do for green tea what he’s done for whiskey: MatchaBar has announced that Drizzy is its latest investor. Having expanded exponentially from its New York City roots, MatchaBar will soon be making its way to Whole Foods thanks to the introduction of the super healthy label’s introduction of its bottled Better Energy matcha drink.
“We feel Drake not only embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of our brand, but also our company’s ethos ‘good things come to those who hustle,’” MatchaBar co-founder Graham Fortgang said in a statement.
Hopefully the partnership means we’ll soon get to see Drake’s dad make a hilarious turn in some matcha commercials sooner rather than later.
MatchaBar’s Better Energy is set to hit Whole Foods this September.
