UPDATE: While we’ve only seen one color of the 574S teased, there will actually be three total colorways of the shoe; Grey, Navy and Black. All three of these colorways were chosen to celebrate the classic 574 style while each represents one of the collaborators — Grey for New Balance’s most classic colorway, Navy as an ode to the 574JN which was Ronnie’s favorite version of the original 574, and Black for DSM’s brand palette.

The “S” at the end of these 574 models stands for Sport and is a modern take on the classic which adds NB’s latest Fresh Foam midsole technology to a proven silhouette. A mesh inner sock is incorporated in addition to the premium nubuck with perforated panels. The interchangeable “N” logo system was added by Ronnie and features 28 Velcro logos made of leather, nubuck and reflective variations which are held in a custom packaging system that displays them prominently.

KITH, kith.com and DSM’s web store will release the sneakers this Friday, July 7 for $160 USD each while all Dover Street Market locations will release the collab in-store on July 13.

After unveiling his latest collaboration with Dover Street Market and New Balance via Instagram over the last few weeks, Ronnie Fieg has once again taken to the platform to announce that the sneaker will be releasing next week. The RF x DSM x NB M574S will see a grey nubuck upper play host to 28 interchangeable “N” logos which include colorways that have been featured prominently on other Ronnie Fieg works like the “Salmon” and “Cove” logos pictured above. One of the best looking New Balance collaborations in recent memory, these will definitely be sought after by NB collectors and a must-have for the summer.
