After Recording His Second Triple-Double in Hardens, Lonzo Ball Explains His Recent Sneaker Choices
From Kobes to Hardens.
Lonzo Ball has done it again. Another triple-double in the books and another pair of shoes not donning the Big Baller Brand logo. In an exciting NBA Summer League win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Ball proved his skills by adding another stat-filled night to his resume with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Interestingly enough, the focus for many was on his footwear rather than his performance. Following an impressive game in the Nike Kobe A.D. “Purple Stardust,” Ball moved over to adidas’s Three Stripes in wearing the adidas Harden LS “Night Life.”
In true Big Baller fashion, Lonzo responded to a question — at the 3:30 mark above — regarding his footwear change in saying “In Big Baller Brand you got freedom. You do whatever you want and I’m showcasing that.” Ball was also asked if Under Armour was to be expected next game and he simply said, “Stay tuned.”
Check out James Harden’s praise for Lonzo making the Three Stripes switch below and let us know your thoughts.
