DOUBLE RAINBOUU's 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Is a Time Warp to the Tropics
What to wear in paradise.
Earlier this year, DOUBLE RAINBOUU aligned with Tokyo retailer CANNABIS and streetwear brand SUB-AGE to create a trio of trippy shirt designs and have since returned to unveil its 2018 spring/summer collection. Taking the stage in a quirky runway presentation, the Australian resort wear brand presents a seasonal range brimming with warm weather staples. T-shirts, button-down tops, pullovers, shorts and various swimwear items whisk the observer away to an island paradise as a steady stream of tropical-themed prints surface strongly throughout. Complimenting the vibrant-hued floral and palm tree prints are an assemblage of words that thematically tie into the collection’s concept. For instance, phrases such as “Cruise,” “The Sun” and “Day” all make their way onto various items.
In case you missed it, Uniqlo recently teamed up with Disney on a Mickey Mouse-themed collection.
