The last Lego movie to come out was noticeably more profound than its predecessors, but would most viewers understand why? It’s not necessarily the quality of production — though it was amazing — the answer lies is in the small details. The movements of each object were stop-motion-like, realistic to how real life Lego would move, and similar to how Lego looked in pre-tech fan-made films. Working with the toy’s realistic limitations added another dimension to the final product, setting it apart from all other Lego movies before it.
