New Google Tech Will Remove Unwanted Objects From Your Photos
Better than Photoshop?
Coinciding with news of Google Lens, which gives your camera the ability to identify objects, restaurants, etc., Google has also announced that it is rolling out a method for users to get rid of unwanted objects from photos. Similar to Photoshop’s “content aware” and “healing brush” functions, the GIF released by the tech company shows a relatable application of the new function — a chain link fence being completely removed from a photo in which it obstructs the view of the batter. Certainly a cheaper alternative to Photoshop and complementary to the mobile market, this new rollout from Google will undoubtedly have an instant impact on a multitude of people’s photography game.
Let us know what you think the name of this function will be and if you’re an Android user, look out for the redone Android O emoji set.
