Dazed Digital went to COMME des GARÇONS‘ boutiques and Dover Street Market and asked its employees why they love the brand so much. Everyone has a different reason for their affinity for the brand… and it’s interesting to learn about Rei Kawakubo’s movement and its implications (especially in light of her Met Exhibition). Some responses include, “I feel edgy and confident wearing COMME, and I’m able to work long, hard days without it affecting the garment,” says Victoria Simes. Additionally, for Clark Phillips, “My style is what Comme states as a whole, ‘chaos and beauty’. It’s only frivolous if you give a fuck! And I give a damn.”

Check out all the responses on Dazed now.
