Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich have just unveiled a new home kit for the 2017/2018 season inspired by their ’70s squads. The new adidas jerseys sport the vertical white stripes atop the club’s red base and the club’s motto “Mia San Mia” on the back, all harkening back to the three-peat European Cups won by Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, Uli Hoeness and company. It was the right time to bring back a “classic and great design” according to Jürgen Rank, the senior design director.
