Shaquille O’Neal, Reggie Bush & Lupe Fiasco to Compete in 'Street Fighter V' Tournament
WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie will also participate.
NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, renowned Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco, NFL free agent Reggie Bush and WWE professional wrestler Natalie Eva Marie have been booked to compete in gaming outfit NRG eSports’ ELEAGUE Street Fighter V Invitational Celebrity Showdown tournament. Each individual will face off against each other to raise money for the charity of their choice, though all participants involved will receive some form of financial compensation. NRG’s ELEAGUE Celebrity Showdown will be a single-elimination tournament, while host Richard Lewis, analysts Zhi “Zhieeep” Liang Chew, Steve “Tasty Steve” Scott, Stephen “Sajam” Lyon, Reepal “Rip” Parbhoo and reporter Malik Fort will take on the role of gaming coaches for the celebrities enlisted to compete. When it comes to the charities involved, Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund, M.U.R.A.L. (Magnifying Urban Realities and Affecting Lives), 619 Charitable Fund and the American Cancer Society will all be represented.
The NRG eSports’ ELEAGUE Street Fighter V Invitational Celebrity Showdown will air on TBS next Friday, April 28 at 10 p.m. EST.
