Streetwear is a notoriously difficult fashion category to pin down due to its unpredictable, fast-paced nature, as well as its ethos of being “more than just clothes.” Unlike the high fashion realm where trends are outlined by runways and fashion week calendars, today’s streetwear is influenced by a combination of real world streets and social media.

In this new weekly series, we scavenge the depths of Instagram to bring you the best and most current streetwear outfits from around the world. Ranging from hyped looks to timeless fits, celebrity-verified accounts to that of your standard “urban youth,” this selection hopes to offer some insight into what’s happening in the menswear landscape beyond the fashion campaign pages.

This week’s selection sees a heavy dose of color and bold prints, with retro tracksuits, Kappa stripes and head-to-toe prints commencing warmer season styling. Footwear sees a mix of old (OG AJ1s and ’90s Air Maxes), new (Balenciaga sock-inspired sneakers) and new-that-looks-old (Kanye’s Calabasas and Raf Simons’s Ozweego Bunny shoes).
