DYNE's Fall/Winter 2017 Collection Hopes to Join the Ranks of Techwear Giants
Adding technology to an already blossoming techwear scene.
Christopher Bevans’ menswear label DYNE is a luxury sports apparel line inspired by technology — in essence, technical wear. With the introduction of its fall/winter 2017 collection, DYNE looks to join the ranks of established brands in the techwear space like ACRONYM and Nike ACG while adding its own luxury and technological twist; the brand equips every piece with an interactive touchpoint tag and NFC tech which connects to Samsung devices so the wearer can learn where to buy the piece in addition to its cost, materials and view lookbooks, videos and musical playlists.
Highlighted by oversized boxy anoraks, cropped hooded bombers with reflective accents and track pants with articulated knees, the designs incorporate fabric, fit and functionality all together. The Schoeller Textile AG fabric is not only a sustainable material but allows for the technology to be integrated into it.
