KICKS LAB. Issues Luxurious Made-in-Japan PUMA Clyde
A limited edition update of the classic silhouette.
Harajuku’s KICKS LAB. toyed with one of PUMA’s sleek low-tops earlier this year. Now it’s reuniting with the sneaker label for a premium take on one of its most iconic silhouettes — the Clyde.
Featuring a premium brown suede upper, the sneaker offers bespoke detailing made available by its Japanese construction. Hits of gold on the tongue, side, and rear branding add an air of opulence to the otherwise understated shoe, with black suede accents reaffirming the subtle lavishness. Tonal laces and midsoles further the low-key styling, with speckle detailing affording more muted flair.
The shoe hits KICKS LAB.’s pair of Harajuku locations and website on December 22 for ¥19,440 JPY (approximately $170 USD). Fellow Japanese sneaker experts mita teased their own PUMA revision just yesterday.
