While it’s hard to communicate a greater message that doesn’t appear to be appropriation once you reach a certain level of success, brands like Nike and Coca-Cola have proven that it can indeed be achieved, and a successful balance within a collaboration can be tapped. At the end of the day, the communities at play become vital to the success of genuinity.
Continuing to push this wave further, Coca-Cola is following up a collaboration with A Bathing Ape by connecting with atmos LAB for a special capsule collection.
Revolving around a heavily-branded approach, the Coca-Cola x atmos LAB capsule introduces a new line of coach jackets, long-sleeve t-shirts, caps and hoodies. Specifically, the featured items are emblazoned with graphic motifs and slogan that pay tribute to the world’s “number one soft drink.” For the color palette, the two companies go for an accessible mix of black, red, white and navy.
You can take a look at Coca-Coca and atmos LAB’s capsule collection above, and head on over to the latter’s official website for more information. Previously, atmos LAB linked up with The North Face for a seasonally-appropriate Nuptse boot.
