Yohji Yamamoto Reunites With New Era for Monochrome Fall/Winter 2017 Collection
More all-black wardrobe staples.
New Era and Yohji Yamamoto reunite on a capsule release. After revealing the Y’s x New Era collaboration, the pair offer a look at the Yohji Yamamoto Produce collaboration.
Naturally, the lineup is all black, with detailing done in white. Like the Y’s release, the collection features a snapback New Era cap and backpack. These accessories offer tonal branding and are bolstered with a T-shirt, leather varsity jacket and hoodie. The items feature mirrored Yohji Yamamoto logos, while the leather jacket boasts a drawing of Yohji walking his dog, Lynn, done by longtime collaborator Yuka Asakura.
Ranging in price from $120 USD-$550 USD, the collection is available on New Era Japan’s website. This is one of many New Era collaborations unveiled recently, including one with LA’s Fear of God and another with uniform experiment.
