MISTERGENTLEMAN 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Gives Classic Pieces a Touch of Incongruity
Big-O and Yuichi Yoshii’s latest offering.
Tokyo-based menswear label MISTERGENTLEMAN has unveiled another line of modern basics with its Spring/Summer 2017 collection lookbook. Headed by Takeshi Osumi aka Big-O and Yuichi Yoshii, the brand’s latest collection is titled “NEW YOURS” and based on the theme of “Post Modern Closing,” a new sense of balance created by adding a touch of incongruity. Highlighting the everyday style of Big-O and Yoshii, the collection reinterprets classic garments, such as denim jackets with unique hardware details, coats with a striking block strip down the front closure, blazers with color block sleeves and split panel Hawaiian shirts. Other classic menswear pieces include patterned knit sweaters, striped shirts, windbreakers and bombers.
