Tokyo-based menswear label MISTERGENTLEMAN has unveiled another line of modern basics with its Spring/Summer 2017 collection lookbook. Headed by Takeshi Osumi aka Big-O and Yuichi Yoshii, the brand’s latest collection is titled “NEW YOURS” and based on the theme of “Post Modern Closing,” a new sense of balance created by adding a touch of incongruity. Highlighting the everyday style of Big-O and Yoshii, the collection reinterprets classic garments, such as denim jackets with unique hardware details, coats with a striking block strip down the front closure, blazers with color block sleeves and split panel Hawaiian shirts. Other classic menswear pieces include patterned knit sweaters, striped shirts, windbreakers and bombers. Take a look at the MISTERGENTLEMAN 2017 Spring/Summer collection lookbook and share your thoughts in the comments below.
