Neymar Lends a Helping Hand to the Jordan Trainer 1 Low

A brand new addition to the “NJR” collection.

While Neymar looks to right the ship on his home soil (his Brazil squad has played to two scoreless draws so far at this summer’s Olympic games, this on the heels of a disappointing 2014 World Cup that was largely derailed by the star forward’s back injury), the 24-year-old footballer has joined forces with Jordan Brand away from the pitch for a brand new addition to the “NJR” collection that debuted earlier this summer. Whereas that initial drop was highlighted by a low-top Air Jordan 5 and special edition Hypervenom, the second “NJR” release taps Jordan’s Trainer 1 silhouette. Like the Air Jordan 5, the Trainer 1 comes in low-top form, in this case coupling a predominately black upper of elephant print-inspired Flyweave construction with “Infrared” accents and an icy outsole. As you might expect, unique Neymar-centric branding touches appear throughout.

Retailing for $140 USD, the kicks are available now in limited quantities via Nike’s SNKRS.
