Childs just unveiled its newest lookbook for the 2017 spring/summer season. The brand comes from Thom Browne alum Robert Childs, who looks to make his mark on the crowded menswear market by focusing on designs that are “current” and “classic,” and never “trendy.” Here we see the designer produce silhouettes that are sightly updated with prints and details that define the label’s clean, yet creative aesthetic – there are wire fence-style patterns, florals and abstract prints. The suits are impeccably tailored and the outerwear pieces are true standouts with colorblocking and use of lightly transparent fabric. The technical aspect of the construction is very impressive, so it’s an exciting collection for anyone looking to up their contemporary roster.
