Why Does the adidas Japan adizero Takumi Sen Celebration Retail for More than $1,000 USD?
Apparently they’re quite special.

Known for meticulously crafting handmade shoes for some of the world’s top athletes, Hitoshi Mimura of M.Lab recently produced a special edition pair of running shoes for adidas Japan called the adizero Takumi-Sen Celebration. The Japanese master craftsman wraps the racing flat in a bold red colorway while fitting it with high-quality synthetic fabric. The pair also features Quickstrike technology, a Continental Rubber outsole for durable protection, and a midsole unit that offers unrivaled underfoot cushioning. Moreover, the heel is emblazoned with a Japanese flag along with M.Lab branding on the insole and folks can also customize the heel counter with a name embroidery.
Only 100 pairs are available to purchase with each going for $1,100 USD on adidas Japan’s official website. Do these features motivate you to shell out the exorbitant retail cost?
