adidas Skateboarding Introduces a Limited-Edition Matchcourt Mid for Na-Kel Smith
The rising talent gets his very own version of the Nizza-inspired mid-top.
Fresh off this spring’s release of adidas Skateboarding’s highly anticipated Away Days, young 22-year-old up-and-comer Na-Kel Smith has been blessed with his very own edition of the Matchcourt Mid from the Three Stripes. A skate-ready take on 1975’s Nizza and a silhouette specifically inspired by Mark Gonzales’s wear of the Nizza back in the ’80s (the Gonz was even rocking the kicks on his first-ever Thrasher cover), Smith’s version of the Matchcourt comes with a clean white leather upper and sees a blue gradient across the Three Stripes branding as “NA-KEL” appears in metallic gold.
Finished with a rubber toecap and vulcanized sole, Smith’s Matchcourt can be found now at select adidas Skateboarding stockists for $80 USD per pair.
