New Balance and colette Celebrate 20 Years of the MRT580
Two oppositely designed pairs.
New Balance has elicited the help of Parisian contemporary fashion retailer colette to celebrate 20 years since its MRT580 silhouette was first introduced. Consisting of a pack of two different colorways, that’s ultimately a reverse in color scheme, the collaborative parties have opted for an easy grey and colette’s synonymous blue for the shoe’s birthday design. One pair sports a predominantly grey upper and toe box, which is then contrasted with a blue heel counter. The second pair features a blue upper and toe box, followed by a grey heel counter. Both pairs sit on an all-white sole unit, and come with their own set of laces. Be sure to check out colette’s online store for when the pack drops on June 25.
