Four Tet Releases 'Randoms' Album for Free on Bandcamp

This is a bit unexpected, but we’re not complaining one bit. Four Tet has just shared a collection of tracks that were commissioned for compilation projects but instead released as this new personal proejct titled Randoms via Bandcamp. The 9-song project spans twenty years, the oldest song dating back to 1996.
“Over the years there have been some pieces of music that I have made specially for compilation projects or have ended being released only as part of a compilation album,” the producer wrote in the description for the project. “As time passes I look back at this music and find the context it was originally put in often feels a bit random now.”
