Inside Nike's "The Nature of Motion" at Milano Design Week
The sportswear brand collaborated with ten designers to explore “Natural Motion.”















Forever studying the human body and its potential, Nike’s latest innovations often discard the unnecessary to focus on it’s wearer’s natural movement. With this in mind, the sportswear brand paired with 10 progressive designers at Milano Design Week to explore Natural Motion through various mediums. “Some works are conceptual — foreshadowing future technologies — and others practical. In many cases, materials unique to Nike, such as Flyknit, have been applied.” Artists include, Lindsey Adelman, Enrica Cavarzan and Marco Zavagno, Martino Gamper, Max Lamb, Greg Lynn, Bertjan Pot, Clara von Zweigbergk, Shane Schneck and Sebastian Wrong.
