German luxury accessories label MCM continues on its scintillating trend of late with its latest Spring/Summer 2016 collection, titled “Munich Disco Days.” Taking inspiration from icons of ’70s-era glossy chic such as David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and the bewildering Bauhaus creations of art pioneer Oskar Schlemmer, the collection harks back to Munich’s heyday as Germany’s cultural and artistic powerhouse with silhouettes that play with graphic shapes, technicolor hues, sparking studded motifs and trippy polka-dot patterns. This is balanced out with a more refined palette, which incorporates variations of beet pink, cognac and tile blue, duly spiced up with metallic hits of gold and steel. Find this free-spirited range on sale online and in-store at MCM boutiques worldwide.
