Inspired by the beach cultures of Hawaii and California, Slowtide began with friends Kyle Spencer, Wylie Von Tempski, and Dario Phillips who wanted to unite their passion for art and surfing by creating unique products that reflected their lifestyles. With creative backgrounds in the action sports industry, the collective began a line of beach towels that are custom dyed, painted and designed, in collaboration with likeminded artists and photographers. From partnering with surf media site WHAT YOUTH to retailers like Aloha Beach Club and General Admission, Slowtide has been gradually making waves with its lifestyle-driven, quality towels.
