Following three successful years as a creative consultant to G-Star RAW, British designer Aitor Throup has officially been announced as the brand’s new executive creative director. Since 2013, Throup has worked with G-Star on a range of projects such as the development and concept behind the brand’s Oxford Street flagship, the recent ‘What is RAW?’ global advertising campaign, and the RAW Research collection which launched during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June. Throup’s ability to communicate G-Star RAW’s ethos through continued 3D experimentation and construction makes his appointment as the brand’s new executive creative director an organic progression for the designer and the brand.
