Shawty Lo Passes Away, Hip-Hop Reacts
R.I.P. to the Bankhead legend.
Atlanta legend and trap music trailblazer Shawty Lo has passed away. The “Dey Know” rapper was pronounced dead following a car accident around 2:20 a.m. today, while two other women who were in the vehicle with him at the time of accident were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. Shawty Lo was 40 years old. Taking to social media, rappers ranging from Gucci Mane and Future to Metro Boomin and Lil Yachty paid their respects to the D4L artist.
