As summer comes to a close, Rupert LaMontagne blesses us with the fifth and final installment of his “50 Girls of Summer” series for C-Heads Magazine. For a theme that would typically objectify women, the Canadian photographer’s latest work carries the essence of “au naturel” through the grace and elegance of fresh-faced girls whose somber stares are expressed through intimate candid-style portraits. LaMontagne also captures the spirit of his home city of Montreal with lush green neighborhoods and decrepit parking lots that serve as backdrops to Québécois themes of French colonial architecture and medieval Tam Tam costumes.
