Apple has announced today that Diplo of Major Lazer and Eric Prydz will both receive their own respective Beat 1 radio programs, joining Drake, Dr. Dre, Disclosure and more next month. The BBC 1Xtra host will debut his show, aptly titled Lazer Sound, on Friday October 2 at 10pm GMT which he says will replicate his live sets. The following week, Prydz will premiere his residency on the same time slot, alternating bi-weekly with the Mad Decent founder. The Swedish producer says his show will contain ”exclusive material, exclusive music from myself and from my peers. It’s going to be about music, new talent.
