As Timbaland promotes his next album Opera Noir, he’s also taking to social media to pose questions about dream collaborations pretty much every modern rap fan would listen to. Taking to Instagram recently, Timbaland put up the following post:

Considering a collaborative effort from J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar has been talked about in more serious terms in recent years, even that project is probably a more likely (if not still improbable) scenario. More collaborations from Kendrick and Pharrell are also far more likely of becoming reality, as is the possibility of Kanye releasing more joint efforts alongside Drake. But, just the thought of a song with Kendrick, Drake and J. Cole rapping while Pharrell, 40, Dr. Dre and Kanye West sit back behind the boards sounds like the ultimate modern posse cut. Or, maybe it would end up being the 2015 version of The Firm. Regardless, just imagine that studio session.
