A handful of drugs, violence, and Gold records.
HBO teases its viewers with an upcoming new series from the Mick Jagger-Martin Scorsese rock drama, Vinyl. This one-minute clip is the first official look at the 10-episode drama, which takes place in 1970s New York and follows Richie Finestra (played by Bobby Cannavale), a record executive trying to resurrect his label and find the next new sound. The clip features a liberal amount of violence, on-stage performances, riots and gold albums. HBO calls the project “a ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop.” Though viewers will have to hang on tight as the official debut is set for 2016 on HBO.
